I wanted to create a turn-based RPG using sexual arousal as the mechanic, meaning that each attack you utilize will cost you in some measure your own "resolve".

This is a proof of concept. Quickly here I'd like to get more features added. I'll be posting a roadmap next week so y'all can be in the know about where this is headed. Ideas are welcome at this juncture!

0.4.0 Update

  • Project moved into Godot
  • Battle interface changed
    • "Darkest Dungeon" or "Slay the Spire" style layout, as opposed to isometric
    • New Health layout
  • Puxx Encounter - A touch scene including Puxx

This might be a slight step back since we've lost a little functionality, but it's a step forward in the sense that we've got the game in Godot, meaning development will be a bit quicker in the long run. Phaser is dope as hell, but it's a lot harder to make pretty basic changes since there isn't a robust UI the way that Godot has.

0.3.0 Update

Admittedly, this is a bit of a step back to get to a step forward. Slow down to speed up or some shit like that. Anyways, gameplay has taken a pretty obvious hit in favor of getting some new content in place.  Next release is going to be a complete gameplay overhaul though, so go easy on me, for now, this update added:

  • Cutscenes: Have yourself a little introductory cutscene and meet our new characters Puxx and Halogen
  • Cutscene Battle Triggers: Cutscenes can trigger battles and certain battle outcomes can trigger cutscenes.

And that's pretty much it besides a few little bug fixes I found!

0.2.0 Update

In this update I added:

  • Abilities: There are now abilities, including a healing ability
  • New Character: Play as Deride, who's heavy on the attack
  • Enemy AI: Enemies now run on an AI system, allowing them to exhibit unique combat behaviors
  • New Status Effects:
    • Confusion: Causes an enemy to be able to attack any player on the field randomly (including themself)
  • Attack Illustrations: Most attacks now have a unique illustration affiliated with them
  • Win/Loss Illustration: You now get a different illustration based on whether you win or lose the battle.
  • New Enemy: You're pitted against the powerful Royal Guard, a much more tactful and dangerous opponent.
